Dahshoor Pyramid

After arranging pick up time we will meet you at your hotel lobby .
For the pyramid lovers, a tour of the pyramids around Cairo! We will begin the tour with the Great Pyramids of Giza (Kufu ,Kafra, and Menkawra).
Then on to Dahshour Pyramids where we will spend time at the beautiful Red and Bent Pyramids King Senfru father of Kufu built these two pyramids about 30K to the south of the Great Pyramid.
The Bent Pyramid as begun but when they reached the height of about 48m, the architects didn’t trust the pyramid would stand so they decreased the angle, thus ending with a bent shaped pyramid.
Egyptologist believe the Pharoah was buried in the Bent Pyramid and not the Red Pyramid.
The nearby Red Pyramid was built, perhaps to prove that a pyramid shaped structure could be built?
This reason for its name is apparent as you approach it – the stone appears red from a distance.
On the return trip, we will tour the Sakkara Pyramid complex, which contains the oldest pyramid ever built in Egypt (about 2700 BC).
