Saturday, Arrive in Cairo

Arrive in Egypt, one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations; transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day acclimating to your new surroundings in exotic Cairo, an extraordinary mix of old and new. Tonight, attend an orientation meeting and enjoy a Welcome Drink with your Tour Manager and fellow travelers at your hotel

Sunday, Full Day Pyramids of Giza and Memphis & Sakkara

This morning, after Breakfast Awaken in this city of ancient wonders. Begin your discovery of the Pyramids of Giza, built during the 3rd and 4th dynasties of the Old Kingdom. Enjoy an up-close view of the Great Pyramid, built for the Pharaoh Khufu, the oldest surviving structure, named one of the “seven ancient wonders of the world.” After seeing the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, head to the magnificent Sphinx that guards the Giza plateau, amazingly carved out of one massive piece of limestone. Leisure time this afternoon, join the tour to Memphis & Sakkara with lunch. Visit Memphis, the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, founded by King Menes. Now, is an open-air museum highlighted by a giant statue of Ramses II. In Sakkara, site of hundreds of tombs, view the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser.

Monday , Full Day in Cairo Embarkation, Egyptian Museum & Saladin Citadel, Old Cairo & Khan el-Khalili Bazaar

This morning, after Breakfast Egyptian Museum & Bazaar. Begin the tour at the Egyptian Museum, a neoclassical building located on Tahrir Square. The museum houses the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts with more than 120,000 items on display. Continue to the Coptic Cairo with Make your way to the Saladin Citadel, dating from the 12th century. Built as a defense against the Crusaders, it served as the seat of the Egyptian government for 700 years. Next, head into Old Cairo. This area is the original home of the Coptic Christians, one of the world’s oldest Christian denominations. Here, visit the Hanging Church, that was built in the 7th century. Admire the courtyard and interior with its elaborate wooden screen, marble pulpit and icons. Proceed to Abu Serga, a 5th-century Coptic church and hear how the church was built over the site of a cave, believed to have sheltered the Holy Family during their flight into Egypt. Later, visit the Monastery and Church of St George, an early 20th-century church. It is one of the few round churches ever built in Egypt. Then, tour the Ben Ezra Synagogue, once a Christian church. Conclude with a visit to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar - a major souk in the city and one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East. A perfect place to fine-tune your bartering skills, then return to your hotel .

Tuesday , flight to Aswan

This morning enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and then you will be transferred to Cairo International airport to get your flight to Aswan. (Flight take 1.15 hour) upon arrival you will be transferred by a private air-condition vehicle to your 5* Hotel. You will get the chance to check in to your room freshen up and get ready to Spend the afternoon join the Sunset Felucca Ride. Enjoy a relaxing ride aboard a felucca, the traditional sailboat of Egypt used along the Nile and watch the exquisite sunset (felucca is a sail boat)

  • fly to Abu Simble , where you will visit the Incredible Abu Simble Temple carved out of the mountain with gigantic four statues of Ramses II as its Façade, its two temples ,one for Pharaoh Ramses the great and the small temple was dedicated to Goddess Hathor and to his favorite and beautiful wife Nefertari ,her tomb in the valley of the queen is the best preserved in Egypt but its closed, so here’s your chance to see beautiful Nefertari in her temple , then fly back to Aswan.

Wednesday , Full Day in Aswan, Philae Temple, Aswan High Dam, & Obelisk

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will take a tour to the spectacular Aswan High Dam, an engineering miracle when originally constructed in the 1960s. The dam brought an end to the Nile's devastating floods. Continue to Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis and marvel at the temple's beautiful island location. Conclude the tour with a visit to a granite quarry holding the largest known unfinished ancient obelisk. Afterwards, check into your Nile Cruise

Thursday, Nile Cruise Embarkation- Kom Ombo, & Edfu Temples, Cruise to Luxor

This morning, tour the imposing Greco-Roman Temple of Kom Ombo, that is dedicated to Horus, the Sky God and Sobek, the Crocodile God. Admire the fascinating detailed reliefs on the walls. Later, visit the stunning Temple of Horus in Edfu, considered one of the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. It was built during the Ptolemaic times and was completed over a 180-year period. The temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus, the son of Isis and Osiris. Its extravagant design and sheer size is an indication of the country's prosperity at the time. This afternoon, the ship sails via Esna to Luxor, known in ancient Egyptian times as the city of Thebes

Friday, Temples of Karnak & Luxor

View the magnificence of the Luxor West Bank on this morning that includes the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens & Temple of Hatshepsut along with Colossi of Memnon. Begin with a visit to the UNESCO listed Valley of the Kings, the necropolis of Thebes and admire the tombs of ancient Egypt’s rulers. Continue to the stunning Valley of the Queens, a burial site for the wives of the Pharaohs. Next, head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a colonnaded structure surrounded by cliffs and learn about the life of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first female ruler. Conclude the tour at the Colossi of Memnon: two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of the East Bank of Luxor. Visit the magnificent Temples of Karnak, dating back over 3,000 years. Walk along the avenue of the Sphinxes and marvel at the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive sandstone columns. Afterward, head to Luxor Temple to admire the colossal statues of the great pharaoh Ramses II

This magical journey starts before dawn as you are collected from your hotel or cruise boat and taken across the Nile River in a Felucca motorboat. Morning tea/coffee and cakes/biscuits are served aboard during the crossing to the West Bank. Once back on dry land you will be transported to the enchanted valley of Hatshepsut take-off point.
The amazing setup and inflation of the balloon takes about 30 minutes. After that, you will float for a minimum of forty minutes, depending on wind conditions, over some of the most magnificent wonders of the ancient Egyptian world, enjoying a bird’s eye view of all the important landmarks of the West Bank.
Admire the amazing architecture of Hatshepsut’s temple carved entirely from a cliff face. Take pictures at the massive statues of Memnon and speculate on how they were built all those years ago. Look down upon the Mortuary Temples of Ramesses II and III – The Ramesseum and Medinet Habu- the royal necropolis of the Queens and the rock cut tombs of the Nobles and high officials of ancient Egypt. While gliding across the Deir El Medina -home of the artisans- think at the incredible expertise of all those “Michelangelo” and “Raffaello” of ancient Egypt.
As hot air balloons cannot be steered, each flight is a unique beautiful experience. After landing and packing the balloon back onto the chase vehicles trailer, we take you back to the boat and to your hotel. The whole experience takes about two and a half to three hours and you will be back to your accommodation in time for breakfast.
